Tender:Traveller
How long must a living tree survive in order to carbon neutralise the vessel in which it is planted? Well aware of the impact my ceramics practice has on the environment, these adult bonsai trees must be kept alive, cared for and maintained for several decades before they are able to offset their vessel's carbon footprint.
It is my aim to calculate each vessel's carbon footprint and each tree's carbon conversion, in an effort to quantify how many years the pairings must coexist.
